A reputable event organizer located in Doha, Qatar is looking for a highly energetic Hostess, fluent in English and with great communication skills to join its dynamic team and be a part of amazing events.
This is a full time position.

Responsibilities:
This position is a Hostess. You might be assigned to work as a Hostess in a restaurant, a hotel or at the event. Salary is paid even if there is no assignment. When the assignment is at the event you also get a bonus per day of work.
As a Hostess, you will be responsible to greet and assist visitors, and ensure a welcoming environment at the event venue or a restaurant.
To be successful in this role, you must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work well under pressure, and have a strong attention to detail. You should also be able to work flexible hours, as this position may require working evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Welcome guests to the venue
- Offer consistently professional, friendly, warm and engaging service
- Be available for guests at all times as a point of contact
- Maintain effective communication with all related departments to ensure a smooth service delivery
- Deal promptly, efficiently and pleasantly with any questions
- Manage reservations
- Escort customers to assigned dining or bar areas, or show around the event venue
- Provide menus and announce Waiter/Waitress’s name
- Greet customers upon their departure
- Coordinate with wait staff about available seating options
- Maintain a clean reception area
- Cater to guests who require extra attention (e.g. children, elderly)
- Answer incoming calls and address customers’ queries
- Assist wait staff as needed
Qualifications, skills and requirements:
- Essential communication: fluent speaker of English. Any other language will be advantage.
- Good health, Neat and pleasant appearance
- Previous work experience as a Hostess or Waitress is a plus
- Previous customer-service related experience is a plus
- Positive attitude and good communication skills
- Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service
- Excellent grooming standards
- Flexibility to respond to a variety of different work situations
- Ability to work on your own and as part of a team
- Understanding of restaurant etiquette
- Familiarity with health and food safety regulations is a plus
- Experience in managing reservations is a plus
- Excellent communication skills (via phone and in-person)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to monitor the entire dining and bar area
- Availability to work in shifts as needed
- Good physical condition to walk and stand during an entire shift
- High school diploma; hospitality certification is a plus
