A reputable production and distribution company in Croatia is looking for a highly energetic, hard-working and reliable Storekeeper, fluent in English to join its dynamic team in a big warehouse.

Responsibilities:
As a Storekeeper, you will be responsible to keep stock of inventory and manage operations in the store with the team of other storekeepers. You will be coordinating the ordering, receiving materials and products, managing inventory, arranging the inventory according to company rules.
To be successful in this role, you must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work well under pressure, and have a strong attention to detail. You should also be able to work flexible hours, as this position may require working evenings, weekends, and holidays. If any overtime work, within allowed number of hours specified by labor law – overtime will be paid extra.
Responsibilities
- Materials Handling & Stock Movement: Ensure the rapid, efficient, and safe unloading of materials and products
- Movement and arrangement of packed goods within the warehouse, minimizing breakages and handling costs
- Inventory Control & Storage Optimization: Manage the receipt, storage, and issuance of stock, ensuring it is stored correctly for maximum space utilization and is readily available to meet production and dispatch demands
- Product Inspection & Expiry Management: Perform quality checks on incoming and outgoing products, ensuring all goods meet the required standards. Regularly inspect expiry dates on products and inform the concerned department for timely action on soon-to-expire or expired goods
- Manual Handling & Safety Compliance: Conduct manual loading and unloading of heavy items, following health and safety guidelines to prevent injuries and ensure the secure handling of stock
- Palletizing & Stacking: Organize and stack pallets according to company guidelines, ensuring efficient use of storage space and safe movement of goods to prevent damage or accidents.
- Inventory Audits & Documentation: Conduct regular stock checks and maintain accurate records to ensure proper inventory levels and avoid shortages. Assist in preparing documentation for product movement and stock discrepancies.
- Collaboration for Operational Efficiency: Work closely with the production and dispatch teams to ensure timely availability of materials, preventing delays in sales growth and shipping schedules.
Qualifications, skills and requirements:
- Essential communication: fluent speaker of English. Any other language will be advantage.
- Previous experience in stores, inventory management, warehouse work
- A high school qualification or equivalent
- Computer skills
- Ability to handle items according to manual handling guidelines
- Ability to climb stairs safety and arrange goods on the higher shelves
- Positive attitude and good communication skills
- Commitment to delivering a high level of service
- High level of attention to detail
- Flexibility to respond to a variety of different work situations
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to learn fast and adapt to new technologies in the warehouse
